Excited to go fishing in Panama City? Dauphins Charter Fishing II is your ticket! With Captain Ryan at the helm, you’ll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
The fish in these waters include Amberjack, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Tarpon, Grunt, Gag Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Great Barracuda, Cobia, Vermilion Snapper, Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, and more with any luck. During the trip, you might be spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Don operates a 23’ Sea Pro center console with space for 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
Some essentials to bring are sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Sons first boat fishing trip
10/10 I booked this for my son’s 10th birthday. He has fished in lakes and ponds, but I knew he would love a sea fishing trip. I booked the inshore 3 hour trip with Captain Don and my husband said it was amazing. I ended up letting them have a father son fishing day and I saw the pictures. Nothing but smiles from my son. My husband said Captain Don is super good with kids. He caught five fish.. I also didn’t know they clean them, skin them, descale them, and vaccine pack them if you want. Good to know if you are traveling and can take them home. I also found out there are restraints that you can take the fish too and they will cook them for a price and serve them to you! So cool!

From the moment we stepped on the boat, it was clear we were in great hands. He had us on fish immediately. This was definitely on my and my wife’s bucket list to catch some salt water fish and the variety we caught with him was a great diversity which made it that much more fun for us and our daughter as well. We can’t thank Captain Don enough for this adventure and experience thank you for everything and God Bless

Excelente momento, fue amable y el capitán nos indicó cada detalle de cómo pescar, además de darnos referencia de los peces sacados, agarramos uno enorme de 27” pero por reglamento debimos regresarlo, fue emocionante y divertido, volveremos con nuestro capitán dom , sacamos 6 peces de más de 20” y casi sacamos un “cazón” o tiburón bebe, pero se nos escapó casi llegando el naylon al barco, recomendaría indicar al Momento de la pesca si el sitio a donde nos dirigiremos será alta mar o cercano

They provided all the necessary details upfront, making it easy to prepare. The Crew: Our guide, Capt. Don, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about fishing. He took the time to explain techniques and share local fishing lore, which made the experience even more enjoyable. His enthusiasm was contagious! Don's love for fishing made this experience one of the most memorable fishing trips ever. His goal was to make this fishing experience the memory of a lifetime. He achieved his goal, my grandson, and my nephew had the best time and rated this fishing experience number one on our trip to Panama City Beach. I can thank Don for this experience. Location: We headed out to the Marina, which was stunning. The scenery alone made the trip worthwhile, but the fishing with Capt. Don was the real highlight. Fishing Experience: After dropping our lines, we started reeling in fish! My nephew caught the first fish; it was his first time fishing. We learned many new techniques about top water fishing. Don knew all the best spots and provided excellent tips that really made a difference. Equipment: The boat was well-maintained, and all the fishing gear was top quality. Everything we needed was provided, from bait to tackle. Overall Experience: The camaraderie with Capt. Don was fantastic, and we all shared laughs throughout the day. We chose not to keep any of the fish because we were flying out early the next morning due to Hurricane Helene rolling through. Final Thoughts: If you're looking for a fun, relaxing, and productive day of fishing, I highly recommend Dauphin's Fishing Charter but you MUST ask for Don. I can’t wait to book my next trip!
