SPI Excursions 

If you're ready to go fishing in South Padre Island, we've got you covered with SPI Excursions. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Chapo can tell you all about them.

The fish in these waters include Redfish, Speckled Seatrout, Flounder, Mangrove Snapper, sheephead, drum, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Cobia, Snook, Tarpon, Blacktip Shark, Bull Shark, and more.

On the day of your trip, you're likely to throw live bait, lures, or bottom fish using light or heavy tackle depending on the time of year.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, we will provide. Don't forget to bring snacks and BYOB for a boost of energy when needed! The charter provides bottled water.

You'll be casting lines from a 22.6' Majek Illusion bay boat with room for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait, cut bait, and whatever is needed to catch.
 
    Our cafe Lobo Del Mar will also cook your catch once its filleted. Amazing fresh fish tacos!

You'll need to get a fishing license at any Walmart or local fishing store or online.

Don't forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, and drinks and food. Alcohol is allowed, just be sure to avoid glass bottles.
