Your adventure will take place aboard our custom 2024 Shoalwater 23' catamaran, powered by a Mercury 200-hp engine. With an 8" draft, our boat can navigate shallow waters, allowing you to fish in areas that others can't reach. No experience? No problem! We provide full, hands-on coaching, handling everything from baiting your hook to casting your line. Captain Chris hooks you up with top-tier gear, premium rods, light tackle, and all necessary fishing licenses.
Your private charter is fully customizable to target local species like Redfish, Snook, Snapper, Trout, Flounder, and small shark across the vibrant mangrove shorelines, grassy flats, and local islands.
In addition to fishing, dive into a seasonal scalloping adventure or kick back and cruise the grassy flats, mangrove shorelines, beaches, and islands for a day of sightseeing. You choose your adventure! As a bonus, you may spot some wild dolphins and manatees along the way. Don't forget the camera!
At the end of the day, we even clean and fillet your catch. With no double trips per day, our focus is on ensuring that each day's charter has the best chance of catching fish without the pressure of watching the clock. Half Day Inshore Fishing Trip on January 14, 2025Last month we were visiting in Florida and decided we wanted to get out and enjoy the water. My wife recently had surgery so we we didn’t want to do a lot of fishing but wanted to do more sightseeing. Captain Chris did a great job. He is very knowledgeable about the area and showed us all about the area. We even had manatees come up to the boat as well as saw a few dolphin and many birds. The boat was in tip top shape with plenty of room and very comfortable. Next visit we will do some fishing. I highly recommend Epic Tails.

Fishing with Chris
Half Day Inshore Fishing Trip on January 14, 2025My husband and I booked a trip with Captain Chris and Epic Tails a few weeks back. We wanted a little relaxation and wanted to enjoy being out on the water. We aren’t big fisherman so we wanted more of a sightseeing trip. Captain Chris was very nice and made our day amazing. I had never seen a manatee and he found quite a few. They even came right up to the boat. We even saw some dolphin. I highly recommend Epic Tails. Captain Chris did a great job giving us a tour and was very funny and informative.

We decided to call it a Hudson slam. The scenery was beautiful. We saw a manatee, dolphins tearing up some fish, a turtle and a roseate spoonbill.

Great time on the water, Capt Chris was excellent with my 2 kids, super patient with them, answered 1.2 million questions, and everyone caught fish! Couldn’t ask for a better day on the water. I would absolutely book him again when we come back! Red fish, snook, Tarpon, sea trout, and some others! We caught everything.

What could be better? The people Cris and Pam were the most gracious people, immediately putting us at ease. We had the most enjoyable time and Cris really knows his stuff. I would feel comfortable booking with him even if I never held a fishing pole in my life. Book a trip and see for yourself
