Trips with Blue Fishing Charters are kid-friendly, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

You’ll be dropping lines from a 26’ Pursuit sportfishing vessel with room for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods and reels are covered by the charter, as well as all the necessary equipment. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

A few items to bring include sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
