Goombay Smash Charters is a kid-friendly charter service, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!
Capt. Nicolas welcomes you aboard a 35' Center console with space for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water.
Your captain will provide rods and reels. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.
