Looking to catch some fish in Key Biscayne? Ariels Charters is here to make it happen! With Captain John at the helm, you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
Great Barracuda, Amberjack, African Pompano Jack, Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Sailfish, Spanish Mackerel, Mutton Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Cobia, Black Grouper, and more can be found in these waters, depending on when you go. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. John can also help you try kite fishing.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that everyone stays happy and energized!
Capt. John operates a 31’ center console that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
It’s always wise to bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Your trip with Ariels charters is just a click away, so why not make it happen?
