Prime Time Fishing Charters

U.S. 31
Traverse City MI, United States

Prime Time Fishing Charters offer half and full day fishing charters on Lake Michigan and the Grand Traverse Bays from April to October. Their 30 ft Sportcraft, ‘Prime Time’, is well suited to charter fishing, with a 10 ft beam and a spacious cockpit to accommodate up to six anglers. The boat is equipped with modern marine electronics to ensure your trip is both safe and successful.

Prime Time Fishing Charters are based in Traverse City, which gives them easy access to the Traverse Bays and Lake Michigan. Here, the Lake Trout fishery is good all season long, and Salmon fishing is excellent from mid August to early October. They fish both the grand Traverse Bays to make sure you are always in the best place to catch fish.

All tackle and equipment is included in the price of charter trips, although guests are responsible for bringing their own Michigan fishing license with them on the trip.

We had an excellent trip. Grandkids and I hooked 3 fish .... but alas we did not land them.  Fish we kind of finicky that night.  Cap’n Jerry was excellent with the kids and they had a lot of fun.  Will do this again for sure.  Thanks Jerry!
