Captain Skylar is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain, certified in adult and pediatric first aid and CPR, and always fully prepared to ensure a safe, smooth experience. With years of guiding experience and in-depth local knowledge, he offers trips tailored to your goals, whether you're chasing Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass or simply enjoying a peaceful day on the water.
Families and kids are welcome aboard, and child-sized life jackets are available upon request. You'll fish using light spinning tackle, perfect for all ages and skill levels.
Step aboard a 22' Carolina Skiff Ultra Elite, fully equipped with quality rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait (usually caught before pickup). The boat comfortably fits up to 4 guests and includes a restroom onboard for your convenience.
Before your trip, be sure to purchase a Tennessee fishing license. If you're not sure what kind you need, Captain Skylar is happy to help and will also explain any local regulations you should know.
What to bring: non-spray sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and any snacks or drinks you'd like. Alcohol is allowed in moderation spill-proof containers are preferred.

Skylar is an exceptional fishing guide—the complete package. His knowledge of the water and techniques is top-notch, but what really sets him apart is how he combines that expertise with genuine enthusiasm and excellent teaching. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why, teaching us techniques we'll use for years to come. We caught some nice fish, but honestly, Skylar's personality and passion for the sport made the whole experience memorable regardless of what was biting. If you're looking for a guide who's skilled, personable, and ensures you have a great time while learning, book with Skylar. We'll definitely be back.
CPT Skylar Hamilton did and outstanding job with this family of four! He was very professional from the start. He had a great boat with an awesome attitude. He was super great with our kids... Four hours later and close to 30 fish... it was great day!! Thank you, Skylar!

Not only did Skylar put us ON THE FISH, he kept us dry around sudden storms, and had all the patience in the world with our rookie fisherwoman. Mom, Dad, and Big Brother caught all they wanted all day too. Incredible day with an incredible guide. Will be back again for sure.

Captain Skyler couldn’t have provided a better experience. He supplied all gear, bait, drinks and snacks we could have wanted. He put us on the fish and was great to spend the day with on the water. Would absolutely reccomend his guide service. 5 stars

the weather was questionable, a few rain showers he kept us dry and kept us on the fish. great time and we lost count if the fish we caught. Captian Skyler was personable and easy to talk to.
