Strike Charters is a full service inshore fishing charter located in Wilmington NC.
Strike Charters operates charters from Wrightsville Beach, Fort Fisher, Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, Southport, Oak Island, Bald Head Island, and the Cape Fear River. Strike Charters specializes in light-tackle and shallow water fishing. Drew Tyndall is a Wilmington, NC native and is a fully licensed and insured USCG Captain. Drew has been fishing the waters of the Cape Fear Region since he was a young boy. He developed a love for inshore fishing and has perfected his fishing-finding skills over the years. His experience will ensure you have a great day on the water! Drew's expertise is getting into spots that other boats can't get into. Drew is a fun guy with a great personality and will ensure you have a fun-filled day on the water!

Strike Charters focuses on shallow water and sight fishing using light tackle. Species include Red Drum, Black Drum, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, and Spotted Seatrout. Captain Drew also offers fly fishing, but you will need to bring your own fly gear.

Kids are always welcome! Captain Drew is great with kids and loves teaching them how to fish! Be sure to confirm what size life jacket is needed for any small children. Children ages 12 and under must wear a life jacket while underway.

Strike Charters utilizes a 19' Spyder flats boat that can carry 1 to 3 anglers. It comes with all the essentials for inshore fishing. Rods, reels, and tackle are all provided. Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so no extra expense for you.

Don’t hesitate, book with Capt. Drew!

My wife, father-in-law, and myself booked a morning charter while on vacation is Wrightsville. We had an awesome time. Capt. Drew had us on fish throughout the day and had the opportunity to pick his brain about locating fish and bait throughout the trip. I would recommend his charter to anyone from beginner to experienced. Never a bad day on the water, but can’t beat limiting out on slot reds. We boated a wide variety of fish and had our fair share of misses. Would absolutely book another trip with Capt. Drew anytime. Also side note, his boat handles extremely well even in some heavier chop in the sound. Thoroughly impressed.

My wife and I had a great trip with Captain Drew! Young Captain, but don’t let that fool you. He had us on fish in no time. Caught several nice size Flounder, that were just a week out of season, threw those back for the next trip! Landed several slot sized Red Drum and a shark decided he needed a taste right next to the boat! Awsome time overall. I would highly recommend a trip with Captain Drew! Until next time, Tight lines….

Captain Drew gave us a great day on the water—patient, skilled, and fun all around. The fish weren’t easy, but he knew where to got us plenty of bites and some fun catches. From bluefish to red drum and even a wild stingray moment, it was unforgettable. Highly recommend him for anyone looking for a solid charter—we’ll definitely be back!

Great Experience!!

My son and I booked a 4 hour morning trip. Drew made the experience seamless. From the meeting point to info about the trip, he was top notch!! We caught fish all morning and left very satisfied. Drew is knowledgeable and a a great guide. Overall wonderful trip full of memories for my son and I. We will definitely book again!!
