These waters are known for Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper, Flounder, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Spanish Mackerel, Amberjack, Speckled Trout, Redfish, Gray Triggerfish, Cobia, and more – with any luck, it won’t take long to hook into some.

For these species, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

You’ll be fishing aboard a Robalo 246 Cayman SD with a capacity for up to 6 passengers. It comes with and all the essentials.

You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Don’t leave home without bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So make it happen, with Water Walker Fishing!

Captain John was awesome!!

My son and I went on the 5 hour offshore trip and had an incredible time. At first I thought we’d be trolling but was told we’d be drop fishing for the day. A little different experience than what we were used to, but Capt. John got us on fish right away. The current was strong but he managed to keep us in a great spot where we got our limit of nice Red Snapper in no time. We then went onto a different location and hammered the Mingo Snappers and a few different species of grouper. The fishing was awesome and we even had the pleasure of spotting a massive Leatherback Turtle only a few feet from the boat. Captain cleaned all our fish the way we requested. I highly recommend this outfit and would most definitely use them again the next time we’re in the area. Our entire experience was incredible!! Thanks Capt. John for the memories.

A Little Rough then Bam

5 Hour Shark Trip - Offshore (AM) on June 28, 2025 • 2 adults

Went out and rain was on our port side. A little rough in that boat getting out there. Dodged the rain, got to "Mississippi Snapper" spot and then bam! Painted the dock red with some nice red snapper and some vermillion. Captain "Q" was the man as he had some great spots and put us on some Jack... My son had a great time fighting that fish. Q put me on a couple as well but I couldn't boat them... fun time for sure. He works hard to make sure we had a great time. Great captain and all the captains at this dock seem to get along great and have a great repour with each other. Would do this again for sure.

Evening Charter

The Cool Down, Sunset Trip on June 6, 2025 • 2 adults • 2 children

Captain Q was really great! He had everything ready to roll and took us (myself, wife, and 2 kiddos) to some great locations. He took the time to teach my kids, ages 11 and 13, about each fish we caught….red snapper, gag grouper, flounder, trout, even a catfish and soap fish! We only got to keep a handful due to length requirements, but the memories made are invaluable! We caught many many more! Would and will book again, next time off-shore!

Awesome Pensacola trip!

4 Hour Trip – Inshore (PM) on April 29, 2025 • 2 adults • 2 children

Everything about the experience was awesome! My wife caught 5 red fish back to back in the first 20 minutes into our fishing trip. They didn’t quit or give up until we got keepers, we ended up catching 5 different species of fish. Red fish, black drum, Flounder, whiting and also a sting ray! Which was a cool experience because we had never seen a sting ray! Both were very knowledgeable of the ocean and we felt super safe and will definitely be going out with them again in the future. Next time we want to go off shore instead of inshore. This is a great charter! You’ll definitely catch fish and have a blast doing it!

My brother in law and I went out on a trip the last day of the family vacation. It started off slow but Captain Q, was determined and successful when it come to finding some fish to fill the cooler. He was very passionate about his job, even spending a little extra time on the water with us, being his last charter for the day.
