If fishing in Panama City is on your bucket list, look no further than Panama City Guide Fishing. Captain James will be your guide, which allows you to benefit from years of professional experience.
We have numerous pick up and drop off locations available for your party. Preferred pick up location for Groups is 5904 E highway 98 peir 98 marina located around 25 minutes from the beach, which is Panama City guide fishings home marina.
But the boat is versatile and the captain is accommodating. You can also be picked up at 5805 N. Lagoon drive. Secure parking across the street at 3120 thomas drive.

These waters are known for Amberjack, Bonito, Cobia, Flounder, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Almaco Jack, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Ladyfish, Pompano, Red Snapper, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. During the trip, you might be spinning, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this Panama City Guide Fishing welcomes kids aboard, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Child life jackets provided
Your vessel for the day is a 24' T-Craft center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is also available
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation,

James adjusted to conditions and we still killed it. He was great with my 13 year old son. Caught spanish mackeral (while emersed in dolphins-actually had dolphins stealing our mackerel off yhe hook), sheep head (my son caught a very big one), red grouper, trigger fish (in the bay!), squirrel fish, sailors choice, and a few others. Military base shut down the area he normally fishes because of raised security measures, but he adjusted well and had us on the fish. He was patient and informative. If you want to keep the fish, he takes you to the marina and they filet and package for pretty cheap. My son said this was a top 10 life experience for him. Highly recommend.

Our captain was incredibly professional, answered all of our questions and always made sure that we were comfortable and happy. I had an incredible experience with my best friend and my son and his best friend. We had the time of our lives, caught a tremendous amount of fish which we took home and fed a family of 10. Definitely going back to him the next time I am in Panama City.

My daughter and I had an amazing fishing trip with Captain JD! From start to finish, he made the experience fun, comfortable, and memorable. This was actually my second time going out with him, and both trips have been outstanding. He knows the best spots, is incredibly knowledgeable, and takes the time to make sure everyone—whether a beginner or experienced—has a great time on the water.
Captain JD is patient, professional, and goes the extra mile to create an enjoyable experience. My daughter hasn’t stopped talking about how much fun she had, and I know we’ll be back again. Highly recommend!

We had an unforgettable inland fishing trip in Panama City Beach with Captain James! From start to finish, he was professional, knowledgeable, and a ton of fun to be on the water with. His boat was clean and comfortable, and he knew exactly where to go to get us on the fish. We caught a variety of species and had constant action throughout the day.
Captain James was great with everyone in our group—whether you’re experienced or a first-time angler, he makes sure everyone feels involved and confident. He shared a lot of local knowledge about the area, the fish, and the best techniques to use. You can really tell he loves what he does.
This trip was the highlight of our vacation, and we’ll definitely be booking with him again next time we’re in town. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great inland or bay fishing experience in Panama City Beach!
