Panama City Guide Fishing 

We had an absolutely fantastic day on the water with Captain James! From the moment we left the dock, he made the experience fun, relaxed, and personalized for our family. He started by showing us how to catch our own bait, which the kids loved, then took care of baiting everyone’s hooks and getting us set up so we could focus on fishing. We visited several different spots throughout the day and caught a ton of fish—including a shark, which was definitely a highlight! Along the way, he shared interesting information about the local area and marine life that made the trip even more enjoyable. What really stood out was how wonderful he was with our kids. He was patient, kind, funny, and encouraging all day long, and he made the entire experience enjoyable for both the kids and the adults. At the end of the trip, we took our fish to the Gut Hut at the dock, where they cleaned, filleted, vacuum-sealed, and packaged everything for us. It’s exactly the kind of authentic coastal experience you hope to find—simple, efficient, and run by people who clearly know their craft. Having everything freezer-ready meant we could keep as much fish as we wanted without worrying about what we’d do with it afterward. We can’t recommend Captain James highly enough and will absolutely book another trip the next time we’re in the area!

JD was the best captain and helped us with our teens have the best experience. He taught us a lot and we had so much fun out on the water. Highly recommend JD to be capatin of your charter. JD’s demeanor was age appropriate and gave our teens plenty of “positive feedback” and kept them laughing and humbled haa. He is worth it and our whole experience was awesome, plus we kept all of what caught then paid Captain Anderson’s to process and bag our catches. 10 out of 10 and my family WILL do it again. We had an absolutely amazing trip with captain James. Immediately super friendly, accomodating, and had a great sense of humor. We caught a ton of different species, red grouper, scamp grouper, gag grouper, strawberry grouper, red snapper, vermillion snapper, white snapper, as well as even catching a stray shark. Came home with a cooler full of fish, the trip was a 10/10 for us. Will 100% be fishing with Captain James again very soon.

Captain James Moore put us on the fish! Great guy and very knowledgeable about the where the fish were! My arm was tired after our trip and couldn’t keep fish off our lines. Double and tripled up more times than I can count. Highly recommend booking with Captain James Moore he won’t disappoint. Although it is fishing and can’t guarantee catching as many fish as we did, he will try his hardest to put you on the fish!

Captain James was fantastic. He was super laid back and put us on fish at the first cast. We caught at least 4 different species of fish including red snapper, red grouper, redfish, scamp grouper, and beeliner. It was a good day of fishing, especially for a half day! We ended our trip by taking a grouper filet to Capt Max’s Bar and Grill to fry it up for us, and it was delicious!

Our captain was incredibly professional, answered all of our questions and always made sure that we were comfortable and happy. I had an incredible experience with my best friend and my son and his best friend. We had the time of our lives, caught a tremendous amount of fish which we took home and fed a family of 10. Definitely going back to him the next time I am in Panama City.

I highly recommend Captain James and this charter. We were scheduled for a Deep Sea Fishing Experience, but the swells were too high, so we changed it to an InShore Fishing experience. 10/10 recommmend this charter because while safety was his first priority, fun and catchjng fish was a close second! Creating core memories one catch at a time!

JD was a great guide. Put us on the fish and it was one of the best charters I have been on. Wife landed her PB black drum and throughly enjoyed the trip. The boat is perfect for 2-4 passenger. All equipement worked as it should and is in great condition. Plenty of live bait. If you find youraelf wanting to fish in the Panama City/Panama City Beach/30A area hit JD up.

This was my 10-year old’s first sea fishing trip, and he had a blast. He caught the most fish of course, including red grouper, mahi, red snapper, and trigger. Captain James was the best and very knowlegeable and efficient! He went out of his way to help make my son’s first trip a great and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

My husband and our adult boys had the best time today. They were on fish right away and even caught a couple baby sharks. The captain was awesome and the trip fun. I would recommend this charter a 100 x’s over. Thank you for making our family vacation great!!!! The Milton Family
