These waters are known for Mangrove Snapper, Permit, Cobia, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Pompano, Tarpon, Gag Grouper, Lane Snapper, Scup (Porgy), Bonito, Blacktip Shark, Bonnethead Shark, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. On the day of your trip you're likely to troll using light tackle. Capt. Joseph also offers fly fishing.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites for a boost of energy when needed!
You'll be casting lines from a 26' Morgan center console that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Capt. Joe will provide rods and reels for you. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain Joe was great. He was great with my eldest son who the trip was for. We got skunked this go around but it wasn't for lack of Cpt. Joe trying. He even extended our trip by 2 hours to try and get us a catch. It was just one of those days. My son and I are both fresh water anglers so we know some days it's just not in the cards. We all appreciated Cpt. Joe!! Will have to book him again during prime tarpon season.
Had a great time fishing on this trip. Capt Joe was great and very accommodating with all our needs. Caught plenty of fish. My grandson even caught a rare hogfish. Had a Goliath break our line so the Captain rigged up a bigger pole to try and catch him. We were unsuccessful but had a great time trying. I would definitely recommend this charter and I will be planning another trip with Mojo Fishing.
captian was friendly and knowledgeable. caught many fish. We took both of our boys 12 and 16 years old, first time fishing and they’re looking forward to doing it again.

Joe kept us on the fish by moving to different locations and we got some nice Red Snapper, King Mackerel and a nice Gulf Grouper. Definitely fish with Joe again.
