Mojo Charters 

There's a fish with your name on it in Nokomis and Mojo Charters will help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Joseph can tell you all about the local fishery.

These waters are known for Mangrove Snapper, Permit, Cobia, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Pompano, Tarpon, Gag Grouper, Lane Snapper, Scup (Porgy), Bonito, Blacktip Shark, Bonnethead Shark, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. On the day of your trip you're likely to troll using light tackle. Capt. Joseph also offers fly fishing.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites for a boost of energy when needed!

You'll be casting lines from a 21' Morgan center console that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.

Capt. Joe will provide rods and reels for you. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

It's recommended to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
