High Flier Sport Fishing is here to help you experience the stunning waters of Kailua-Kona.
Species like Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Black Marlin, Shortbill Spearfish, Yellowfin Tuna, and more inhabit these waters, depending on conditions. You'll target your catch by fishing with heavy tackle, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
You'll be welcome aboard a 39' custom sportfishing vessel that can carry up to 4 passengers. It comes with outriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There's also a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
Don't forget to bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with High Flier Sport Fishing!

striked out but Capt Simon and his crew tried everything to get us on fish,was just a tough day out on the water.Still eventhough we caught nothing it is still an amazing trip,i would recomend this trip to anyone who wants to get on big blie marlin Capt. Simon is the guy.If you love hardcore fishing High Flier is the place to be.
