Zack Eggleston is knowledgeable and experienced guide on the St. Lawrence River. Come experience why the St. Lawrence River (1000 Islands) was ranked by Bassmaster as the #1 Smallmouth bass fishery in the country.
We specialize in targeting Smallmouth bass from June 15th - November. There are opportunities to catch Largemouth bass and Walleye as well. During the trip we will use a variety of techniques to target and trick big smallmout into biting.
Zack Eggleston Fishing welcomes kids aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Adult and childrens life jackets will be provided. Also, remember to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
You’ll be fishing from a fully rigged 20’ Bass boat that can carry up to 3 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
It’s always wise to bring bottled water, sunglasses, sunscreen and rain gear.

Full Day Trip
Smallmouth Hunt
What an excellent young man! Zack has the drive and ambition to hunt down smallmouth. We were able to fish a somewhat breezy day and stay on fish. The Garmin electronics were superb! Panoptix was spot on! We were watching fish and could tell the difference between the schooling perch vs the actual smallmouth. We did pick up a couple of really nice walleye as well, 24-28 inches or so. I am certainly making a return trip to the River with CPT Zack Eggleston. Great day!!

Great trip
Zack was great and very accomodating. He worked hard to put us on fish the entire duration of out trip. Zack was super friendly and held good conversation too. He also has an awesome, well kept bass boat. If you’re in the area and want to experience the awesome bass fishery, definitely book with Zack.

AWESOME AND AMAZING
Zack was AWESOME AND AMAZING! He put me on fish immediately and boy, was it a blast 💥 Zack explained the method of fishing we were using and the lures we used. Whatever questions I had, Zack explained it very professionally and thoroughly. I can’t wait to come back next year to go again with Zack!!

6 pound footballs!!
My 8 year old and I had a great time fishing with captain Zack. Took a minute and a few spots to find the fish but we did. We caught a huge sheepshead and boated 7 smallies all over 4 pounds with one over 6! If you have a young kid and want to introduce them to fishing I wouldn't hesitate to book with Zack.
