We specialize in targeting Smallmouth bass from June 15th - November. There are opportunities to catch Largemouth bass and Walleye as well. During the trip we will use a variety of techniques to target and trick big smallmout into biting.
Zack Eggleston Fishing welcomes kids aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Adult and childrens life jackets will be provided. Also, remember to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
You'll be fishing from a fully rigged 20' Ranger bass boat that can carry up to 3 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
It's always wise to bring bottled water, sunglasses, sunscreen and rain gear.

Fished an afternoon/evening and a morning trip with Zach. I've fished with other guides that fished along with me but Zach after I offered for him to join in was more interested in just guiding and getting me on some fish. River fishing is much different than lake as you have different currents to deal with. My wife came along for the ride which was nice. all in all I was able to land 13 small mouth Bass ranging from 1-1/2 to 3-1/2 or so pounds. Enjoyed the experience and may get together for some large mouth fishing in the spring.
Wonderful 4 hours of fun on a very nice boat with Zack. He did everything he could to make sure we had a good experience. We were three on the trip and we all caught fish and we all had a great time.
What a great day. Zack took us from cape vincent way out into the lake (it was a very calm day - perfect conditions) and we definitely found the fish. We probably caught 20, with several in the 5 plus range! He was very knowledgeable and took care of everything. Highly recommend Zack!
Mid-November in Clayton, NY, served up a seriously dank windy day, but Captain Zack was unfazed! This guy is a warrior. He stayed tough and somehow put me on THE TWO BIGGEST SMALLMOUTH BASS I HAVE EVER caught by far! Smooth ride in his excellent Ranger boat with top-tier gear. If you want a guide who delivers monsters regardless of the weather, book Zack!
