Make the most of your time in Kingston and go fishing with Captain Stu's Charters. With Captain Stu at the helm, you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands. We are able to put you on that fish of a lifetime. We are a catch and release boat and participate in tagging through Grey Tag to help with migratory research to keep the fishery going for generations to come

These waters are known for Striped Bass, Black Drum, Bullhead, Carp, Catfish, Freshwater Drum, White Perch, and more – with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time. You'll target your catch by light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!

You'll step aboard a 23' Chaparral sportfishing boat with room for 4 passengers. It comes with downriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, you will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don't leave home without sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with Captain Stu's Charters!

Fish Catching!
Weekend Stripe Bass Spring Run - 12:00 PM on May 3, 20262 adults2 children
We went out on a very windy day and we knew it was going to be a challenge but the kids are always game being farm kids and Stu said if we were up for it… glad we did. The kids had an amazing time. Our goal was to land a fish as big as our 7yo daughter and Stu did not disappoint us. He worked so hard using his vast knowledge of the waters. I’ve caught plenty of great fish in my life and was fun to get that and keep it going for my own kids! Captain Stu is great! Stu is also has a wealth of local knowledge that makes waiting on the bite just as exciting. Great time had by all and will do again!

Weekend Stripe Bass Spring Run - 12:00 PM on May 10, 20264 adults
Started off windy and had trouble finding fish, but even when we weren't catching fish, Captain Stu kept it fun, and entertaining. He's an amazing guy and extremely funny. We caught a couple schoolies, a nice striper and a nice catfish. We highly recommend this trip!
