If you're here to make the most of fishing in Hatteras, look no further than Albatross Fleet. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Bryan is prepared to put you on fish.

You're likely to go after Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish, Snowy Grouper, Tilefish, and more with any luck. On the day of your trip, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Bryan also offers kite fishing.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to keep their stamina going!

Your day begins aboard the Albatross, a 46' sportfishing boat that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Capt. Bryan will provide rods and reels for you. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Get in touch with Capt. Bryan below and start planning your trip today!

Great Day on the Water, except for the Weather
Half Day Trip - 12:30 PM on August 14, 20253 adults
Had a great time out with Captain Shane and his First Mate Luke. It was the first time ocean fishing for my stepkids, so we booked a half-day inshore fishing. It didn't take long for the fish to start biting, which is good because the weather was looming on the horizon. We were able to catch Spanish Mackrel and some Lizard Fish as we trolled around the shoreline of Hatteras Island. Seas were a bit on the rough side, which kept us from being able to go out too far, but we got into a couple of schools of Mackrel pretty good. We did have to sure the trip short as raing and lightening were moving pretty fast toward us, but we got a solid 2.5 hours in and mt stepkids both had a great time reeling in thier first ocean fish. Thanks so much for the trip!

Excellent trip!
Half Day Trip - 12:30 PM on July 31, 20253 adults
We had a blast on this trip! It was a last minute schedule and The Albatross Fleet were amazing! We didn't catch a lot of keepers, but we surely made a record with the lizard fish! Capt Sumner and his first mate, Luke made for an awesome trip... answering any and all questions we had. Would recommend this trip to anyone!!!

Lots of blues!
Half Day Trip - 12:30 PM on July 19, 20256 adults
3.5 hours and we reached the limit on blues. Very fun day. The crew was awesome. Mate Noah worked his butt off to keep our lines in the water and clear. And Captain Willie kept us on the fish
