Looking to make some great memories in the beautiful Outer Banks fishing a 53' Carolina Sportfishing boat, you found the one, and we care about you!
Blue/ White Marlin, Sailfish, Bluefin/Yellowfin/Bigeye/Blackfin Tuna, Mahi, Wahoo, and many more Big gamefish can be caught in these waters:
Reely Catchy Sportfishing is equipped with the latest tackle to handle all offshore and nearshore species. This includes Tiagra 130W/80W/50W and Penn 70 VIIS when specifically targeting Tuna on the troll. We use a mix of Shimano Talica '50s, Tiagra '30s through '80s, Ocean Runners, and BFC's for daily trolling use which will handle everything from Mahi, Tuna, and Billfish, including the Blue Marlin.
Our bottom fishing package includes everything from electric reels to lightweight Ocean Runner 12 IIs with Shimano Trevala rods.
For bailing Dolphin we use high-end spinning tackle that includes Shimano and St. Croix rods coupled with Shimano Stratic and Saragosa reels from 4000 a 10000 class.
Additionally, Reely Catchy Sportfishing can deploy a green stick to target Tunas when they get shy on the troll, an experience that is totally unique for most charter groups.
Children are welcome, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Child-sized life vests are available. Don't forget to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
You'll be casting, trolling or live baiting lines from a Ray Davis 53' Sportfishing boat that holds up to 6 passengers — equipped with outriggers, downriggers and a fighting chair to crank in the big one.
Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is included.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is set and all you have to do is reel, our mate works for 20% or better tips. Please be sure to tip the crew. Let's make a lifetime of memories fishing the best place on the East Coast with Reely Catchy Sportfishing!

We had a great trip overall. Leaving the dock shortly after 4 AM allowed us to reach the fishing grounds and have lines in the water before 7 o’clock. The seas were a bit sportier than the weather predicted, but the boat handled it well. Captain Carter and mate Jason worked hard to find fish, were fun to fish with and worked well together. We had five hook ups and were able to land to very nice yellowfin tuna. The boat was without air-conditioning the day we went, but that should not be relevant to anyone reading this review for future trips. Thanks for a great day!
We really enjoyed the Reely Catchy 6 hour charter out of Manteo. The captain gave us the options to cancel since the weather was cold and windy with 6 foot sweels predicted. We wanted to proceed. We tried bottom fishing and moved on to trolling. Captain Carter and FM Jason worked hard to put us on fish. We brought home Spanish Mackerel and Blue Fish. They cleaned everything and made it easy. Thanks gentlemen!
these were great captain and mate combo. courteous and welcoming. we had a great time and caut some fish. HIGHLY RECCOMEND this charter
We had an AWESOME AMAZING day with Reely Catchy fishing, we had 6 fishing and caught our limit of Mahi Mahi! Capt. and 1st were very professional but treated us all very well. I will DEFINITELY use them again!
The captain took the time to discuss with my husband what we was hoping to fish for, and the crew worked hard to provide a great environment, kid friendly, and everyone caught fish. Will be back!
