These waters are known for Great Barracuda, Vermilion Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Bonito, Almaco Jack, Snowy Grouper, Sailfish, Skipjack Tuna, Wahoo, Bull Shark, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Amberjack, and more – with any luck, you’ll hook into a few! For these species, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle.
Capt. believes in teaching kids to fish while they’re young, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 39’ custom sportfishing vessel that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. will supply rods and reels for you. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 15- 25% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
It’s never a bad idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

3/4 Day Trip on April 5, 2025
I cannot say enough good things about captain Hiame and his mate Ben. These guys are absolutely top shelf and we will be fishing with them again on our next trip to the area. Conditions were very rough and windy, but they put us on some good fish. Their persistent hard work and dedication to our wellbeing on such big swells has cemented them as our fishing crew in the Miami area. Can't wait to fish with them again on calmer seas. Thank you both very much for a safe and memorable trip. We wish you both a great season and many more to come.

We went out with captain Haimie and his crew and had the best time. They were so accommodating and did everyone to make sure we had fun and caught tons of fish. My daughter and I caught a shark, several large mahi mahi and some other local fish. It was the highlight of our trip to Miami!

Great trip. Went with the family (wife and two boys) and the crew put us on fish. We caught a 48" king fish, multiple black fin, and mahi. A good time was had by all.
