You’re likely to go after Skipjack Tuna, Blue Shark, Sierra Mackerel, Sailfish, Bonito, Striped Marlin, Blue Marlin, Mako Shark, Roosterfish, Hammerhead Shark, Black Marlin, Mahi Mahi, and more with any luck. You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Juan Manuel also offers kite fishing.

Reel Lucky Sportfishing is a kid-friendly charter service, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

Your day begins aboard a 39’ Mediterraneo sportfishing vessel with space for 8 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Juan Manuel has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

Don’t leave home without sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and a hat. Water and beer will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.
