You're likely to go after Striped Bass, Bluefish, Dogfish, Flounder, Scup (Porgy), Black Seabass, Tautog, and more, depending on the time of year.

During the trip you might be spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to maintain your energy throughout the trip!

Capt. Allan welcomes you aboard a 22' Robalo center console fishing with capacity for 3, on some trips 4 passengers will be allowed. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water.

Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

It's recommended to bring sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is not allowed.

A great experience!

4 hour morning trip on August 2, 2025 • 3 adults

Captain Weidele was on time with all the equipment needed. He baited all our hooks and helped removed the fish as we caught them. He was very knowledgeable of the waters and took us to a few different spots. We were lucky to catch flounder, stripped bass, and even a couple dog fish! The captain filleted all the fish we caught to take home with us. My 9 year old joined so we booked the 4 hour trip and it was the perfect amount of time. The boat was very clean and easy to move around. We are already looking forward to our next trip.

This was my first time on a fishing charter. The captain was very helpful. He knew I wanted to catch a flounder so he basically made sure we were able to fish in an area where they were common so we could catch some! Not only was he helpful but he is very nice. He was pretty quiet at first but once we were where we needed to be to catch fish he explained the process. It was just the captain, me and my boyfriend so he had time to help us both throughout the entire trip. Overall it was perfect and I would definitely book another trip with him.

We recently had the pleasure of going out with Weidele Fishing for a private fishing charter, and it was everything we had hoped for and more. From the moment we booked, we felt confident in our choice. The experience on the water was absolutely perfect. We caught striper, sea bass, and scup - a great variety and plenty of action to keep us engaged and excited! Captain Allan was incredibly attentive. He clearly knew the waters and made sure we were where the fish were. We highly recommend Weidele Fishing. We will definitely book again!

Allan is great with little kids! He’s calm and gives clear directions. The boat was easy to find and the adventure was well planned. It’s also nice that there is access to a quality bathroom before you leave for the fishing trip. We caught fish! We loved being able to easily eat them when we got home. Allen cleaned and wrapped the fish. We enjoyed watching this process too. I highly recommend Allan!

Great captain, 6 hour trip with the wife this morning,, the striper wasn't hitting. We moved on to bottom fishing.Captain, put us on to fish immediately, nice keepers seabass and some very nice size porgies,, already thinking about another trip,, this time with the guys 😆,, he's very knowledgable ,, down to earth cool dude, not once where we disappointed , definitely, will be booking again, Good times thanks
