Rooster Fish
Book your next trip with Rooster Fish and find out what keeps anglers coming back to Nuevo Vallarta for more. With Captain Gabriel at the helm, you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
Local species include Cubera Snapper, Roosterfish, Sierra Mackerel, Striped Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Pompano, Little Tunny (False Albacore), Rainbow Runner, Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Jack Crevalle, Black Marlin, and more. On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish. Capt. Gabriel can also show you kite fishing. Capt. Gabriel can even clean your catch for you.
Capt. Gabriel runs a 30' Nava center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that day dream into a reality, with Rooster Fish.
