Operating in Destin, Navarre, Santa Rosa Beach, and Panama City, we bring the action to wherever you are staying. We also provide custom trips along Florida's coast and the Eastern United States.
Our team uses specialized, custom-built reels, rigs, and gear, along with drones and professional kayakers, to deploy bait up to 800 yards offshore. Unlike traditional boat fishing, we fish from the beach—even in up to 50 mph winds and 7-foot waves—so trips rarely get canceled. This method allows for safe, ethical shark releases and incredible family photos.
We specialize in targeting bull, tiger, and great hammerhead sharks in warmer months, and Dusky and other pelagic species in cooler months. Our team has decades of combined experience studying shark migrations, making us the most knowledgeable shark fishing crew in the Gulf. Notably, we are the only group to have caught two 1,000+ pound great white sharks from the beach in Florida on the same day.

zach knows what hes doing he put us right on the sharks withen the first hour we had a 8 foot 3-350 lb bull on the beach followed by a 6 footer and a 5 footer his crew is top notch and very helpful ide recommend drop zone charters to anyone just be ready to crank on that reel cause the drags gonna be ripping shortly after your arival he gave us a trip me and my son will never forget we will definitely be booking with them again next time were in the area 10 star review
This trip was absolutely incredible. Within the first hour of our six-hour charter we landed two sharks — one around 8 feet and another about 6 feet. From that moment on it was nonstop excitement and fun. Captain Zack and his crew were awesome. Super knowledgeable, very hands-on, and just genuinely fun people to spend the day with. They made sure everyone had a great time and kept the energy high the entire trip. The gear, setup, and overall experience were top notch. If you’re looking to catch real sharks and have an unforgettable time on the water in Destin, this is the trip to book. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend.

I found Drop Zone Shark Fishing over a month ago and had to plan a trip while my wife and I were on our baby moon in Destin, FL. This trip absolutely did not dissapoint. As experienced anglers, this is unlike anything we have ever done. Zach, Cole, JJ and my wife and I went 4 for 4 catching 3 great sized bull sharks and a potential WORLD RECORD LEMON SHARK weighing in between 400-500lbs! This trip was such a blast im getting a drop zone tattoo! We decided this is going to be a once a year trip and we cant wait to come back. THIS IS DZSF MF!!!!!!!

What a fun time at the beach catching SHARKS!!! Zach and JJ were great for us at getting some sharks. We caught five total. 2 black tip sharks and 3 bull sharks. 2 bull sharks were huge maybe 200 to 250lbs. Thank you again for a great experience. We will be in touch next time we are in Destin.

Over all our experience was great, I wish we had got a shark to shore, but fishing is not cast and always catching. I will say the ad on here is a little misleading. It says they provide drinks, which I wish I would have known since we had several thirsty kiddos. Heads up Destin has no bathrooms so make sure you use it before hand. Parking is rough, around 7 it is super busy. But our Guide Ricardo was amazing he didn’t mind answering all the questions we had, even the kiddos who asked 3 times. He definitely tried his hardest to get us a shark, we actually decided to stay an extra 2 hours (6 total) and paid just to see if we could land a shark. We will be booking him for our trip next year! Extremely impressed with his patients and dedication to shark fishing.
