Drop Zone Shark Fishing was created by Captain Zach in 2021 to give others the opportunity to catch sharks from the beach. We are located in Destin, Navarre, Santa Rosa Beach and Panama City. We offer custom trips in other parts of Florida and the Eastern Coast of the United States. We have all custom reels and make our own rigs and gear. We use drone and professional kayakers to deploy the bait up to 800 yards off the beach. We can fish in up to 50 mph and 7 foot waves so we do not cancel on you. If you are looking for the best shark fishing experience in the Gulf this is it. Fishing for sharks off the beach in our eyes is superior to pulling them beside the boat and leaving the hook in their mouth. From the beach we can get a proper family photo and release. We specialize in bull, tiger and greater hammerhead shark fishing in the warmer months and Dusky and other pelagic sharks during the colder months here on the panhandle. Shark fishing is our life and we are on the sand everyday the weather permits either running trips, catching bait or dialing in the bite for an upcoming trip. We have spent years studying the migrations of every shark species here. We have many what would have been record sharks if killed. This is a new style of fishing only possible with modern gear. We are the most experienced in the area and showed the ropes to many of sharkers all over the world. Sharks are highly migratory so contact us about whats biting. Come shark fishing with the pros!

4 Hour Family Shark Fishing Trip

Over all our experience was great, I wish we had got a shark to shore, but fishing is not cast and always catching. I will say the ad on here is a little misleading. It says they provide drinks, which I wish I would have known since we had several thirsty kiddos. Heads up Destin has no bathrooms so make sure you use it before hand. Parking is rough, around 7 it is super busy. But our Guide Ricardo was amazing he didn’t mind answering all the questions we had, even the kiddos who asked 3 times. He definitely tried his hardest to get us a shark, we actually decided to stay an extra 2 hours (6 total) and paid just to see if we could land a shark. We will be booking him for our trip next year! Extremely impressed with his patients and dedication to shark fishing.

Had an awesome experience with Zach and the crew at Dropzone! These guys know what they’re doing. They put me on two sharks and we even hooked into a massive hammerhead that took a wild run—unfortunately it hit the rocks and broke off, but what an adrenaline rush! They kayaked the bait out, set the lines perfectly, and made sure everything was dialed in for the best chance at a big catch. Super professional, but also chill and easy to talk to. If you're looking for a great time and a shot at hooking a large shark, I highly recommend Dropzone Shark Fishing. I’ll definitely be back!

Zac and Cole, your fishing abilities were very appreciated and allowed for me to remove a bucket list item, and for that, I truly appreciated your professionalism and expertise. My son-in-law and I had a memorable experience that we will never forget. If you are looking for the best shark fishing experience in the panhandle or anywhere these 2 fishermen are doing their thing, do not hesitate to hire them to do the job! Both have a true love of sharking and have knowledge that is deeply rooted to the area in which they are dropping line. They literally will do whatever it takes to land you sharks. EVEN HURRICANES WONT STOP THEIR EFFORT!!! During our expedition, other local anglers stopped to aquire Zacs methods and knowledge of the area, and he was very inviting and willing to share (absolutely professional). Two good dudes doing what they truly love to do! You guys are the best, and I look forward to meeting up with you guys again. Great experience with Drop Zone.
Even though the night ended without a shark in hand, the guide Ricardo was very informative and helpful and went above and beyond attempting to put me on a big shark. The bait( fresh caught Spanish) and reels were top notch and he never stopped working for a bite and kayaked out well over 500 yards to put the bait in place multiple times. I would definitely recommend Zach and Ricardo if you are in Destin trying for a shark

What a blast!
I was looking for an opportunity for my three boys (9/11/13) to be able to experience a chartered fishing experience, while on vacation in Destin. Zach and his team were great and they were awesome with my kids. Very knowledgeable and willing to share that with us. We had a ton of fun and created a memory that me and my family will never forget, and caught two different shark species. My kids are already asking to come back and do it again.

Over all our experience was great, I wish we had got a shark to shore, but fishing is not cast and always catching. I will say the ad on here is a little misleading.
