These waters are known for Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Black Drum, Bluefish, Cero Mackerel, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Flounder, Black Grouper, Red Grouper, Snowy Grouper, and more – with any luck, it won’t be long before "Fish on!" Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to stay fueled throughout your trip!

You’ll be dropping lines from a 22’ Sailfish center console with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.

It’s recommended to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
