These waters are known for Vermilion Snapper, Red Snapper, Scamp Grouper, Amberjack, Redfish, Blacktip Shark, Gag Grouper, Lane Snapper, and more – with any luck, you’ll have tight lines in no time. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Garrett also offers Flounder gigging.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Snacks are also a good idea to maintain your energy throughout the trip!

You’ll be dropping lines from a 30’ Hydra-Sports center console with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.

You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
