East Pearl Street 930, Granbury, TX 76048, United States

Mason Barney’s Bass Tours is here to show you the stunning waters of Granbury. Your guide for the day is Captain Mason, bringing aboard years of sportfishing experience.

These waters are known for Largemouth Bass, and more – with any luck, you’ll find out for yourself! During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

You’ll be casting lines from a 20’ Triton bass boat with space for 3 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided.

You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It’s always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Mason Barney’s Bass Tours.

Half Day Trip (AM) on November 18, 2024

Our trip got delayed because of a bad storm the night before. Mason did start 2 1/2 hours after our scheduled time and stayed out there for our 6 hours. We are from out of the area so rescheduling was not an option. Mason took us to many different areas on the lake and did everything possible to give us opportunities to catch fish. We got a couple but the boat, equipment, gear and Mason’s attitude is all you can count on and they were all outstanding. We appreciated the effort and after the storm it turned out to be a great day on the water. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks Mason and good luck moving forward.

Needed to learn more about Lake Granbury, so went fishing with Mason. Although we didn't find the fish, our first goal of learning the lake was accomplished. Mason was very knowledgeable and courteous. we enjoyed our day on the water and appreciate the info he shared.
