Tampa Bay Shark Fishing is here to give you a personal experience on the wild waters of Madeira Beach.
The stunning scenery here includes nearshore waters, including a few honeyholes that only the locals can clue you in on.
Around here it's common to go heavy tackle fishing, and that's exactly what you'll do. You can also do a bit of spinning, bottom fishing, and maybe more your guide wants to show you. Solomon will provide rods and reels.
These waters are known for Blacktip Shark, Bull Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Tiger Shark, Nurse Shark, Bonnethead Shark, Gummy Shark, Lemon Shark, and more – with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time.
Groups of up to 20 are welcome on these excursions. You'll be fishing without a boat, so expect to make your way on foot at least part of the time and come dressed for current weather conditions.

6 Hour Trip – Night on March 31, 2026
I was itching to add some adventure to our typical spring break vacation. The rest of my large family, (20 people split over 3 condos) wasn't so sure but I decided to book an off-shore Shark fishing trip. 20 years worth of Spring Breaks in Tampa and this was BY FAR the most exciting and fun of all. Captain Solomon was awesome at communicating, letting me know what to expect, and flexible. He came to us and setup on the beach in front of our Condo! The whole family had a blast, but almost all went inside after 11:00pm to go to sleep. At midnight the line took off and my boys and I fought the shark for 20 plus minutes. By the time we landed it, the rest of the family had run down and go to get in on all the fun. I would 100% recommend Captain Solomon as he made it such an incredible experience. I've been telling shark stories non-stop because everyone thought it was an April Fool's joke. Nope, this is the real deal. Do yourself a favor and throw some adventure into your vacations, you won't regret it!

We didn’t land a shark this time—but honestly, we still had an awesome experience! A boat ended up running through and taking out our lines, which was out of anyone’s control, but Solomon and Canyon handled everything like pros.
They were knowledgeable, patient, and made the whole trip fun from start to finish. Even without the big catch, they kept the energy up and made sure we still enjoyed every minute.
If you’re looking for a great time and a crew that truly cares about your experience, I’d absolutely recommend fishing with them. We’ll definitely be back to try again! 🦈🎣

Best Shark Fishing In Tampa
6 Hour Trip – Night on October 13, 2025
Hands-down the best fishing trip I’ve ever been on! Solomon, Canyon and Seren were super professional but also friendly and down to earth — they made the whole experience fun, safe, and really hands-on. We caught several big sharks and even a few rare species I never expected to see up close.
What I really loved was how the crew made it enjoyable for everyone, no matter your experience level. They were patient with beginners and still kept things exciting for the more seasoned anglers. You could tell they genuinely love what they do and wanted everyone to have a great time.
If you want to catch sharks and big ones at that, book here. I’m already planning my next trip with them!

Unforgettable Experience!

My family and I went participated in the night shark fishing trip and it was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. We had such a great time that we ended up booking the trip again for the very next night! Overall we caught 3 hammerheads, a lemon, blacktip, and sharp nose.
The crew was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everyone felt safe and involved. The excitement of night fishing combined with the thrill of reeling in sharks made for memories we'll never forget.
Highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for a unique and thrilling adventure. Can’t wait to come back again!

We decided to try on shore shark fishing while on spring break. I was a little hesitant to book since our group included kids 6 months to 13 years old. Let me tell you that we all had THE BEST time!!! And we even caught a Lemon shark!! It was such a fun experience for everyone. 10/10 recommend!!
