Make an adventure out of your next trip in Cartagena and go fishing with Balamo Fishing. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Stephane knows them forwards and back.
These waters are known for Blue Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Bigeye Tuna, Wahoo, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Great Barracuda, Caribbean Queen Snapper, Sailfish, Amberjack, and more – with any luck, you’ll have tight lines in no time. On these trips, you can expect to troll.
Any fish within the legal limit are yours to keep. Capt. Stephane can even clean your catch for you. Talk about bang for your buck!
Your excursion begins aboard a 35’ SeaHunter center console with capacity for 5 passengers. It comes with outriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Stephane will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Some essentials to bring are sunblock (non-spray), any kind of cap, and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks provided on board.
Your trip with Balamo Fishing is just a click away, so why not make it happen?
