Planning your fishing trip in Hebo just got easier, thanks to Hamel’s Guide Service.
Here you’ll have access to local waters, including some honeyholes that only a local guide can show you.
The name of the game around here is light tackle fishing, which is how you’ll get acquainted with these waters. You can also do a bit of spinning, drifting, and maybe more your guide wants to show you. Jeremy will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
Around here it’s common to catch Chinook Salmon, Chum Salmon, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Coho Salmon, and more if you come at the right time of year.
Fish that meet size and bag requirements are yours to keep. Jeremy can even clean your catch for you so it’s ready to fry up at home. Now that’s a fresh meal! Up to 3 anglers can join these excursions. You’ll be fishing with a boat, so expect to come dressed for current weather conditions.
If needed, Jeremy might provide transportation but you can otherwise expect to meet at the fishing grounds. Get in touch to find out more before the day – you can even send a quick message below.
Your fishing license for the day is not included, so members of your group may need to buy one . You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. You’re encouraged to dress in layers and the proper footwear (if you aren’t sure what that means, just ask). It’s never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunscreen, and sunglasses in any weather conditions.
Jeremy will have some snacks and drinks for you. Children are welcome to come along. They should always wear life vests, so find out if Jeremy has the right size available or bring your own.
The Hebo wilderness is calling, now let Hamel’s Guide Service take you there!
