Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Hybrid Striped Bass, Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Spotted Bass, Bluegill, Muskellunge (Musky), and who knows what else!
You’ll find yourself aboard a Crestliner 1850 Fish Hawk aluminum fishing boat that can carry up to 3 guests. It has all the essentials. Rods, reels and bait are provided by the charter, but you can bring your own if you’d like.
Before coming aboard, it is necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is available online.
A few items to bring include sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So make it happen, with Hersh Fishing!

Great with Kids and Very Knowledgeable
John was great with the kids and made the trip enjoyable for the whole family. We wanted to learn more about fishing, and he was very helpful and patient in teaching us. Periodically John gave us options for what we could do next. We also got a great feel for the lake. I highly recommend John!

John was a great guide, easy to talk to and very personable He was willing to share his knowledge to make sure we caught fish. I would highly reccomend him for anyone looking for a guide. 5 stars.
