Hello, my name is Trevor Torppa and I am the CEO of Chrome City Guide Service. My experience fishing goes back many years. Growing up in Washington with a cabin in Kenai, Alaska has helped me reach the level of professionalism in fishing which I believe qualifies me to be your guide! I am very passionate about fishing and love to share times like these with all of my guests not only because of the fishing but just to have a great day on the water while making new lifelong friends.
College baseball was a big part of my life for 4 years after high school. I only tell you this because I want to share a little bit about me, as we will be spending your whole trip in the same boat! During college I spent most of my hours in the gym past curfew, on the field after practice and in the library past hours. Within those 4 years I have developed a mindset of being the best possible human, player and now fisherman. This is just a brief message about my life, let’s talk fishing now!
Fishing in SW Washington comes with different seasons and multiple techniques that we use to target Steelhead and Salmon. Bobber fishing, back trolling, casting spinners and twitching jigs, centerpin fishing/lessons as well as fly fishing are all amazing ways that I offer to fish for these species of fish. Some of the rivers I will fish include the Kalama, Lewis, Cowlitz, Elochoman, Naselle and more!
In the summer months May-October I stay in Alaska as a fishing guide, below I will mention the months of operation as well as what will be running during that time.
October-December: Coho Salmon
January-March: Winter Steelhead
April-May: Spring Chinook
