Captain Jake has spent his entire life fishing and diving off of the coast of New Jersey. While specializing in Striper and Tuna fishing, Jake is willing to target any species you desire to catch. His passion and ambition for fishing is unparalleled.
From filling a cooler with wreck fish to catching trophy Bluefin Tuna, Captain Jake will give it everything he’s got to meet and exceed your expectations. In the unlikely event of a slow day fishing, his outgoing personality and sense of humor will surely keep you entertained.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Striped Bass, Flounder, Bluefish, Yellowfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Black Seabass, Tautog, Swordfish, and plenty more. You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, and any other technique necessary to ensure a great day on the water.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures and the bait needed for your trip.
Some essentials to bring are bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We Caught Fish!
Five Stars All the Way! We had an unforgettable day on the water with Captain Jake and On the Rocks Fishing Charters! The wind was howling and the water conditions were far from ideal, but that didn’t stop Captain Jake from delivering on his promise — to put us on fish and make sure we had a great time doing it. From the moment we stepped on the boat, Jake’s passion, knowledge, and determination were clear. Lesser captains might have called it a day early, but Jake didn’t let the conditions slow him down. He worked tirelessly, reading the water, adjusting spots, and changing tactics until we were hauling in fish left and right. His energy never wavered, and his dedication to making sure everyone on board had a successful, fun day was second to none. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and that makes all the difference. Can’t thank captain Jake enough for his hard work and dedication to the kids and making sure they had a great time. We had 3 11 year olds and a 14 year old. He was great and we had an amazing time. Got 8 Fluke keepers and at a lot of it that night. Awesome trip! Thanks.
