Every Tide Guide Service offers the following trips:
SALMON
Fishing the Columbia River and the Pacific Ocean for salmon is an experience like no other. The Columbia River is home to some of the largest salmon runs in the world. The Pacific Ocean also offers a unique opportunity to catch Salmon, with its vast expanse and diverse marine life. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a beginner, fishing for Salmon in these waters is sure to be an unforgettable adventure.
August - September
STURGEON
One of the largest freshwater fish on the map, is sure to impress any angler with their extremely hard pulling and their tendency to fly out of the water when hooked. These dinosaurs can grow to be quite large, with some species lengths of up to 18 feet and weights of over 1,500 pounds. They are also known for living over 100 years.
May - July
DUNGENESS CRAB
Catching Dungeness crab is an incredibly fun and exciting activity that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. The thrill of pulling up a trap full of these delicious crab is hard to beat.
September - December
All the fishing gear will be provided by your guide. All you need to do is get a fishing license, which can be done online.
Depending on the season, you’ll be targeting Chinook and Coho Salmon, Dungeness Crab, and Sturgeon. All trips are seasonal and tide dependant, so your guide will give you all the details beforehand.
The boat can accommodate up to 6 people fishing.

Buoy 10 Salmon Fishing Half Day
A day to remember on the river
Hunter's in the right line of work, that's for sure. His passion for fishing and guiding is obvious, and he led our group of five from the upper Midwest to a day of outsized success on the river. We went into the day hoping to celebrate my dad's birthday with a couple of fish to bring home for vacation dinner, and we came away with enough beautiful Chinook that we had to figure out how to ship it. Also, shout-out to Hunter's brother (Odie), who served as a really capable second pair of hands on our trip.

Buoy 10 Salmon Fishing Half Day
More than a fishing trip
Capt Hunter and Joe made this trip a breeze. They met us at the pick up location, made sure we felt welcome, had all the equipment we needed, and knew where the fish were! Hunter has been on these waters for years, and was also quick to point out whales around the boat, along our way out. We caught our quota (several large Coho) in less than 2 hours. This was day for the books! I would recommend Hunter and his crew to anyone

AMAZING
We went out with Hunter for the first time on this trip. Hunter is amazing at what he does. His knowledge, skills and up beat attitude made this a very enjoyable trip. Hunter put us on the fish from the beginning. Had a fish on the boat within 10 minutes. We will be booking another trip with him.

AWESOME DAY, AWESOME CAPTAIN!
We had an awesome day, our Captain was PEHNOMENAL and fishing was AMAZING! Great time, great boat, great guide, we caught our limit and had a great time! We will 100000% book again next time we are in Oregon! Thanks for a memorable experience and enough fish to get us through to the next trip!

It was a slow day on the water but Captain Hunter went the extra mile to make sure we caught a few salmon. My friend and I had a nice day and highly recommend this captain / fishing guide. We will definitely book with him again.
