SALMON
Fishing the Columbia River and the Pacific Ocean for salmon is an experience like no other. The Columbia River is home to some of the largest salmon runs in the world. The Pacific Ocean also offers a unique opportunity to catch Salmon, with its vast expanse and diverse marine life. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a beginner, fishing for Salmon in these waters is sure to be an unforgettable adventure.
August - September
STURGEON
One of the largest freshwater fish on the map, is sure to impress any angler with their extremely hard pulling and their tendency to fly out of the water when hooked. These dinosaurs can grow to be quite large, with some species lengths of up to 18 feet and weights of over 1,500 pounds. They are also known for living over 100 years.
May - July
DUNGENESS CRAB
Catching Dungeness crab is an incredibly fun and exciting activity that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. The thrill of pulling up a trap full of these delicious crab is hard to beat.
September - December
All the fishing gear will be provided by your guide. All you need to do is get a fishing license, which can be done online.
Depending on the season, you'll be targeting Chinook and Coho Salmon, Dungeness Crab, and Sturgeon. All trips are seasonal and tide dependant, so your guide will give you all the details beforehand.
The boat can accommodate up to 6 people fishing.

My son and I had an incredible day on the water with Captain Hunter. He was superb from start to finish — extremely knowledgeable, patient, and fantastic with my 9‑year‑old. We landed 18 sturgeon, most of them over 5 feet, which is just unbelievable fishing. The boat was perfect for kids, with tall gunwales that made my son feel safe and comfortable the entire time. You can tell Captain Hunter truly loves what he does — he worked hard to keep us on fish and made the whole experience fun, relaxed, and memorable. This is an amazing fishery, and Captain Hunter made it even better. We’ll absolutely remember this trip for the rest of our lives.
Captain Hunter was the absolute most amazing guide!!! Not only was he friendly, professional and courteous, BUT SO KNOWLEDGEABLE!!! Captain Hunter taught my husband and I so much about sturgeon, salmon and fishing in general!! We would rate him 100 if we could! 5 star isn’t enough! If you’re looking for an incredible day of fishing, you have to book a trip with Captain Hunter at Every Tide Has A Guide LLC. We headed out at 7:00 AM this July, and the experience was just magical—we were hooking into multiple salmon within the first two hours! Hunter is so knowledgeable, fun to be around, and really knows the water. It was the perfect start to the day. Whether you’re a total pro or just looking to enjoy some time in nature, I can’t recommend him enough. Such a fantastic trip—we’ll definitely be back! 🎣✨
If there are fish in the water, Hunter will put you on them, the end. Our group limited out by 11am and not only did Hunter run around with his hair on fire making sure everyone’s gear was set up, he was patient with rookie mistakes and was personable to the point that we all just felt like we wete fishing with a buddy with a boat. Great times, we’ll be back.
Between the three of us we caught about a dozen fish. I know it doesn’t sound like much, but when the fish weight in at 100-300 pounds, and fight like a tank. You are happy for a breather. Hunter had everything on hand when I broke a rod he had a backup. He also provided ice, water, and sunscreen. We didn't need anything because we were prepared, but just having there was a bonus. He also took time for us to look at a whale we spotted he got us to within a safe distance for us and the whale.
