Casey Ball Fishing
Wheeler-Wilson-Pickwick-Cedar Creek Reservoir
Anglers,
Welcome to Casey Ball Fishing here you can explore the world of crappie fishing for catch and learn experiences. We focus on electronics to find and catch crappie in all water depths and conditions throughout the seasons using Garmin's livescope system and power crappie brakes to spot and stalk fish. Crappie are targeted either in natural or artificial cover like treetops or PVC. They are also caught in open water roaming solo or in groups suspended around ledges and main creek channels. We will often use both techniques to catch crappie on our trip so the anglers learn both methods.
Additionally, we can assist in setting up your boats electronics if needed so you can master the spot and stalk method for catching crappie.
Crappie, and more could be biting if you cast your line at the right time of year. You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Capt. Casey runs a 19' Xpress bass boat with capacity for 2 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is included.
Before coming aboard, Alabama fishing license is required. This information is usually online, or you can ask the captain. And bring a life vest or let us know your sizes and we can provide them for you. If you would like to bring your favorite rod your comfortable with bring it along as well.
Don't leave home without sunglasses, and sunscreen.

Casey puts us on the fish. Very patient with the boys. He knows where the fish are but that still doesn’t mean they’re gonna bite. Will be back again next year for sure!
A little more wind than needed but captain Ball still put us on them with my grandson having a blast. Learning a little about live scoping fishing and captain Ball working hand in hand with us putting slabs in the boat. Will hope to enjoy another great day with him soom

Thanks, hope to see yall in the Spring.
Casey put us on the fish and was super patient with my sons. We had a ball and will definitely be back!

Thanks, I had a great time as well.
