Ready to catch some fish in Florence? SouthernCats Guide Service is your ticket! With Captain Mike or Captain Jackson at the helm, you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
Largemouth Bass, Catfish, Striped Bass, Gar, Spotted Bass, and more are in the cards if you come at the right time of year. For these species, you're likely to spin using light or heavy tackle.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks!
Capt. Jackson runs a 20' Alumacraft aluminum fishing boat with capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. We have two boats and captains available. Capt. Mike will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So make it happen, with SouthernCats Guide Service!
