Looking to cast a line in Port Washington? That's what Pirate Charters II is here for! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Jim knows them forwards and back.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Lake Trout, Brown Trout, Coho Salmon, Chinook Salmon, and anything else that bites. On the day of your trip you're likely to troll.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are also a good idea to keep their stamina going!
Your day begins aboard a 27' Seahawk cuddy cabin with a capacity for 4 passengers. It has downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So make it happen, with Pirate Charters II!

What an experience. First time on Lake Michigan and WOW what trip. Day one was slow but day 2 did not disappoint us. Be prepared for a workout is one of those big boys go on a run. Captain Darren was professional and helped us learn the ins and outs of fishing Kings. We will be back. Thanks. Tom W

NE wind made for a cool and very choppy day out on the water. Fish didn't cooperate very well but to no fault of the captain. He worked really hard and was finally able to get a little action towards the end of the trip. Was able to land a very large Coho Salmon just before the water got rough enough we had to head in. Communication was great with a very greatly hard working captain.
