Capt. Wayne is happy to have kids aboard, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don't forget to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Your adventure begins aboard a 25' Carolina cuddy cabin with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Wayne has rods and reels for you, as well as lures.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

8 Hour Trip –Nothing Under 18" Kept on August 3, 2024Capped out our Walleye limit fishing on Lake Erie and had the best time doing it with Captain Wayne! He made the trip fun and sent us home with plenty of delicious fish! He took care of everything from set-up to cleaning and packing the fish. Will definitely be booking again!
