2-Hour Fishing Trip - 2:00 PM on August 15, 2026 • 2 adultsWe scheduled a two hour walleye fishing trip with Capt. Jonathan Palanco. We arrived 30 minutes early to prepare for the trip at Port Erie Sports. Fishing Booker site indicated that Capt. Palanco was out on the lake. We waited 1.5 hours for him and he failed to show. I even spoke with the employees at Port Erie Sports who knew him and they stated he wasn’t there. One employee even attempted to call him on his personal cell phone but no answer. I called the phone number listed on Fishing Booker for him but no answer and I left two messages. Capt. Jonathan Polanco had my cell phone number but never called me. I was using the message board on Fishing Booker which is supposedly connected to him asking were he was and that we were here at Boat & Jetski rental shop waiting for him. No response from him. Later on, i received messages stating he was there waiting and then left. He was not there!!! I was constantly looking for him. My wife and I were highly disappointed by this experience and would not recommend him or Fishing Booker site to anyone!!!!

7-Hour Fishing Trip on August 15, 2026 • 3 adultsBooked 7-hour walleye trip for 8/15 in July. Owner called and said Captain Jonathan had a "family emergency" for that morning(several weeks in advance) and could I go later in the day. I agreed, but then got a substitute captain with a different boat more suited for bass fishing (only 1 real seat besides the captain's and all open with no railing). Then, when lake started to get choppy, we had to go in. Would have been nice if he offered a discount for all of this. Captain was very nice, and we caught 7 walleye between 3 people, but ended up with less than 2lbs of fish fillets. not sure what happened there. Don't think I would book with these guys again.
