Offshore charters are dependant on the weather and you will be fishing anywhere from 3-45 miles offshore. You will troll around the artificial reefs or bottom fish around the artificial reefs and various natural reefs and live bottom areas off the Georgia coast. Longer charters will allow you to go out and fish the areas around the navy tower structures which start about 35 miles offshore.
Families making of a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks!
You'll be dropping lines from a 25' Bluewater center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers, and all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Some essentials to bring are sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Liberty Charters.

Midway, Georgia, United States
Captain Daniel has been fishing for 45 years now and he's not planning to stop any time soon. For the past 24 years, he's been exploring the waters of Georgia and holds a Coast Guard 100 ton masters license. His love for fishing started as a hobby but at some point, it became his profession. It's a dream come true - being on the water every day, enjoying the outdoors, and sharing this experience with other people.
