These waters are known for Sailfish, Wahoo, Mutton Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Red Grouper, Black Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Great Barracuda, Mangrove Snapper, Bull Shark, and more – with any luck, you’ll find out for yourself! On the day of your trip you’re likely to either troll, live bait, and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle depending on what the conditions are like that day. Capt. Adam also offers kite fishing.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! (Recommended children be at least 6 years old) Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!

Capt. Adam operates a 28’ EdgeWater center console with capacity for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, comfy seating, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, tackle, and bait waiting for you, as well as free bottle water onboard.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

It’s always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and a hat. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Wahoo, sailfish and barracuda

4 Hour Sportfishing Trip on August 13, 2025 • 4 adults

What an amazing day! Had a four hour charter with captain Adam. Took my son, brother in law and nephew. Hoped we would catch our dinner and Adam put us straight on the fish within ten minutes. We caught a couple of bonita then my brother in law landed a decent barracuda which was pretty exciting. My son landed a wonderful wahoo which Adam kindly cleaned and filleted for us to take back to the villa to grill. A few more bonita followed and then just as we were finishing up, we landed three amazing sailfish! Adam is an awesome guy and made our day better special. Highly recommended and we will be sure to return. What an amazing end to our Florida roadtrip. Thanks captain Adam for an awesome day.

A Christmas gift for my family from Austin was a half fay fishing trip with Captain Adam . Four boys 8-12 caught lots of different fish . They said he was patient snd that he taught them many tricks about how to fish They also loved his fishing stories ! The boat was very clean with a bathroom . Next year its deep sea fishing with Captain Adam

Great family experience

Special 2.5 hour trip for Adam Jacobs on November 26, 2025 • 5 adults

Had family in town and looking for a fun activity for my son and teenage nephews. Capt. Adam took us out on his boat and the experience did not disappoint. Capt. Adam knows the fishing area like the back of his hand after growing up here. Hit multiple locations and everyone caught a fish and had a story to tell to the rest of the family later that day. Good guy, helpful to all the kids with different levels of fishing experience. Will charter again!

Not your average fishing trip!

4 Hour Sportfishing Trip on October 22, 2025 • 4 adults

We have a family trip every summer, and finally decided to do some fishing! I booked our 4 person trip a few days before arriving, and Adam was in touch daily answering all my questions and making sure he knew exactly what type of trip we wanted. 2 out of the 4 of us are avid fishermen and we were BLOWN away by this trip!! Between everything Adam taught us to the 6ft Sailfish we caught, this trip was nothing short of EPIC! We CANNOT wait to do it again!!

Epic family fishing!

3 Hour Trip – Kids Offshore on June 17, 2025 • 2 adults • 2 children

Captain Adam was amazing, we had an awesome time! Going with him over the other bigger fishing charters was the best decision I've made. He put us immediately on the fish and we stayed hot the entire trip (we opted for the 3hr morning trip) My sons first cast was a double header! (See pic) Adam educated us on over a dozen different fish as we caught them, with cool facts and how they got their names, even how common or uncommon they are to catch. Our kids ate it up. Dad even got lucky and had a larger Amberjack eat my fish near the boat as I was reeling it in. 36in & 23lbs! (Pic) The kids were pumped! My son even caught a parrot fish! (Pic) If you'd like to spend your time on a bigger boat with 30 other people waiting on bait, and untangling lines all day go with the larger operations. If you want the best chance at constant action, beautiful fish and more attentive crew, book with AMP. This was our first ever fishing charter, and we had a blast! My son (10) and daughter (12) have been talking about it non stop since we finished. Thanks again Adam for an epic day of lifelong memories!
