Fishing around here will often see you targeting Tripletail, Redfish, Flounder, Speckled Trout, Whiting, White Seatrout, Sheepshead and more with any luck. For these species, you're likely to bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You're welcome to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
Your vessel for the day is a 22' TwinVee center console with capacity for 5 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures. All bait is included coveted by the captain. Fish cleaning may be included depending on the species caught.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), lunch or snacks and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Great day on the bay!
4 Hour Trip – Tripletail (AM) on July 27, 2025 • 3 adults
Had a great morning fishing with Capitan Wes we caught the Gulls feeding on baitfish and stop to try. We loaded the boat with 58 sea Trout, got to catch one blacktop shark, several sail cats, a stingray, Croaker and a few angle fish, went to try for a couple Ress but they had lockjaw. On the way back we stop at several Tripple Tail spots. Caught one 21” and had to throw back one that was 1” short of the size limit, tripple tail were a blast to catch

Captain Wes took us out in the bay to catch some fish and we tore it up. I then started to get sea sick and he then brought us up into the river for a smoother time. We caught red fish, sting ray, flounder, croakers, and a sheepshead. Had a great time and I can’t wait to go back to Florida!

Plenty of fish....flounder, red, white trout, crocker, lots of fish to have cleaned 102 in 4 hours for 5 men. We hit the bay, river and creeks. Always fun fishing around Apalachicola! Knew exactly where to go for what fish you wanted.
