Sitka Expeditions – Premier Charter Fishing
NOTE: If you are traveling on a cruise ship we accommodate your arrival time. Please just specify when you prebook and we will accommodate your arrival time. Thanks!
Sitka has a fish with your name on it, so let Sitka Expeditions help you catch it! With Captain Parker at the helm, you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience. Parker, who is one of the few captains who can say they were born and raised here has all the ins and outs of where and when to fish locations!
These waters are known for Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Chum Salmon, Lingcod, and more – with any luck, you’ll have tight lines in no time. On these trips, you can expect to troll.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Your day begins aboard a 34’ North River sportfishing vessel that holds up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures.
Before coming aboard, you will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It’s always wise to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.
And that’s it! Your fishing trip with Sitka Expeditions is just a click away.

Parker picked us up promptly in a convenient location. We caught several King Salmon in the morning and worked to fill with larger fish throughout the day. Ling cod was closed. Kings were the game. Lovely boat, good company, Great Day.
Captain Parker is the BEST! We were on fish all day and Captain Parker was extremely knowledgeable about Sitka and fishing. I highly recommend Captain Parker on this fishing trip of a life time! Thank you Captain Parker!

We thoroughly enjoyed our fishing excursion and time out on the water in Sitka, and highly recommend this experience! We would have loved to find more fish, but it seemed the fish weren't biting, and we had the added challenge of being 'harassed' at each spot by some spectacular whales.

Thanks Nicole! Those dang spectacular whales!
