Excited to go fishing in Sitka? That's what Adventure Charters Sitka is here for! We are new to FishingBooker, but have been fishing all over the world!

Lingcod, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Pink Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, different species of rockfish and more inhabit these waters, depending on the time of year. Please note that Halibut cannot be retained, as we do not have permits to keep Halibut. During the trip you will be trolling majority of the time, and will switch up methods if needed.

You'll be trolling lines for salmon from a 25' Alumaweld fishing boat with capacity for 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are included. We will be trolling for fish with two lines and two down riggers.

Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Fish processing and shipping services are available for an additional cost. Processing (filleting, vacuum sealing, and freezing) and shipping fees are paid directly to the processor. We will assist in coordinating everything for you.

It's never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and rain gear. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

20% tip is customary for crew.

Half day flexible cruise ship- king salmon
Half Day Trip – Flexible Itinerary on June 30, 2026

Me and my wife booked a last minute trip since we were visiting Sitka with our cruise ship. Didn't expect much, but we were able to catch our limit of King salmon so we targeted some rockfish for the remaining time. Highly recommend for all cruise ship passengers looking to catch some fish, see Sitka by boat on a private boat, and have a good time. Crew was great, accommodating, and friendly. Saw many whales as well!! a great time

Amazing fishing trip!
Half Day Trip – Flexible Itinerary on June 3, 20263 adults1 child

We had an amazing trip with Kevin and GE! We took our 10 and 14 year old grandsons and had hoped we would catch a fish or two. The outcome far exceeded our expectations! I know this trip will always be a fond memory for us and the boys, who caught a beautiful King Salmon as well as two perfect Lingcod and a few very interesting rock fish. What an amazing, fruitful trip bonding with our grandsons!!! Thanks guys! I would 100% fish with them again and highly recommend them for experienced or novice fishermen.

My family and I spent the morning out fishing and it was wonderful. I’ve spent years on the water in Sitka and this was an exceptional weather day. The skipper did a wonderful job catering to our needs and made the trip a delight!

Me and my two grandsons went fishing with Capt Kev and Capt GE and had a great time. We all got a king salmon and the kids also got to reel in different types of rockfish. They had a blast! Thank you for taking care of me and the family while we were in Sitka

Capt. Kevin has been fishing since childhood, and has experience fishing all around the world. He started his career charter fishing out of the North Shore of Oahu. Knowledgable about all things ocean, he and the crew has you covered if you wish to try bottom fishing, spinning, trolling, jigging, or other techniques. The only way to learn is to join them on the water.
