Excited to go fishing in Sitka? That's what Adventure Charters Sitka is here for! We are new to FishingBooker, but have been fishing all over the world!
Lingcod, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Pink Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, different species of rockfish and more inhabit these waters, depending on the time of year. Please note that Halibut cannot be retained, as we do not have permits to keep Halibut. During the trip you will be trolling majority of the time, and will switch up methods if needed.
You'll be trolling lines for salmon from a 25' Alumaweld fishing boat with capacity for 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are included. We will be trolling for fish with two lines and two down riggers.
Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Fish processing and shipping services are available for an additional cost. Processing (filleting, vacuum sealing, and freezing) and shipping fees are paid directly to the processor. We will assist in coordinating everything for you.
It's never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and rain gear. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
20% tip is customary for crew.

We had an incredible experience with Adventure Charters in Sitka! GE, our captain, was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and brought such positive energy to the entire trip. It was our first time in Alaska, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to experience it. We caught plenty of fish, saw whales and puffins, and took in some absolutely incredible scenery. The wildlife alone made the trip unforgettable, but GE really made the experience special. My fiance had minimal fishing experience, and GE was extremely patient with her. He took the time to teach her, answer all of her questions, and make sure she felt comfortable and involved throughout the trip. You could tell he genuinely wanted us to have a great time. We will absolutely be booking with GE again when we return to Alaska. We also found out that he runs a charter in Hawaii, and whenever we make it there, we’ll be booking with him again! 10/10 experience. Great captain, great fishing, great wildlife, and even better vibes. Highly recommend Adventure Charters Sitka!

A fantastic trip with a terrific crew! Accomodating for our 8 year old son and extremely knowledgeable of Sitka and the fish native to the area. Would HIGHLY recommend this crew and charter! My son and husband caught tons of salmon that we are having shipped home and are leaving Sitka with memories that would last a lifetime. Thank you, we look forward to fishing with you again soon in Alaska and Hawaii!

GE was great. Set us up in a couple different places to maximize catching. Got plenty of fish on and enjoyed seeing sea otters, whales, bald eagles, and all the fish we caught (and almost caught!). Good information about the fishing and made the day smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend as it was very personable and enjoyable. Like fishing with a friend.

We had an amazing trip with Kevin and GE! We took our 10 and 14 year old grandsons and had hoped we would catch a fish or two. The outcome far exceeded our expectations! I know this trip will always be a fond memory for us and the boys, who caught a beautiful King Salmon as well as two perfect Lingcod and a few very interesting rock fish. What an amazing, fruitful trip bonding with our grandsons!!! Thanks guys! I would 100% fish with them again and highly recommend them for experienced or novice fishermen.

Had one of the best! fishing trips of my life! Captain GE put us right on the fish and had us in the best spot to watch whales jumping right out of the water. We caught the biggest lingcod I have ever seen, along with just about every other species in season. To top it off, we enjoyed amazing scenic views and spotted some humpback whales, puffins, otters and even some brown bears. I'm still hoping to see orcas next time, but I am definitely coming back next year!

Knowledgable about all things ocean, he and the crew has you covered if you wish to try bottom fishing, spinning, trolling, jigging, or other techniques. You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
