Make an adventure out of your next trip in Drake Bay and go fishing with Good Catch Costa Rica.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Broomtail Grouper, Cubera Snapper, Black Marlin, Striped Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Pompano, Sailfish, Roosterfish, Blue Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, and plenty more. On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
You can take home some of the fish you catch within the legal limit. Capt. Bryan can even clean your catch for you. How's that for fresh seafood?
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Your trip begins aboard a 28' Drake center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.

The captain seemed a bit cold at the beginning. I would have appreciated a bit more advice, although that might have been due to the language barrier. However, as the day went on he showed an excellent knowledge of the area and helped me catch several beautiful fish — it was unforgettable. Overall, I'm very satisfied and would definitely recommend it.
Had an amazing trip caught a huge strong amber jack. captain was very knowledgeable with all the species and ways to find the fish. Had allot fun with good catch

Elsa is very knowledgeable & helpful. Great, fast communication! Captain Brian knows where & how to catch. Once we caught huge rooster, we asked for Cubera, he said ok, no joke the next cast was a monster Cubera! Everything was just amazing! Thank you!!
Amazing trip and captain. Caught some tuna and bonita

Thank you so much Christian, we are really happy you enjoyed your full day fishing offshore.
I had a great day with Bryan and Minor. Caught my target species of Rooster Fish and Cubera Snapper. The guys are very knowleagle and helpful. I had an amazing day and will book with them again when I am in Drake Bay.
Captain Elsa was on a fishing trip in Costa Rica when she met Bryan, one of the best captains and angler she had ever met. They quickly became friends and decided to create their own sport fishing company. They love fishing because there are no two similar days on the water. They are always looking for something, such as a specific fish, or they just want to practice a specific fishing technique. But eventually, something happens. A fish they didn't expect, practicing a technique, a creature shows up from nowhere, and so on. Captains Elsa and Bryan don't have favorite species. Fighting a fish is what brings you excitement, and this is what they love: the feeling of fighting! Snapper and Tuna don't fight the same way, and neither does a Marlin. The captains like adjusting their gear and technique in order to optimize the feeling while fishing!
