If you're ready to love fishing in Playa Flamingo, we've got you covered with Solo Good. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Christian can tell you all about the local fishery.
Around here it's common to catch Amberjack, Sailfish, Roosterfish, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Jack Crevalle, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Spanish Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Black Marlin, Rainbow Runner, and more with any luck. Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Trips with Solo Good are great for kids, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are also a good idea so that everyone stays happy and energized!
Solo Good is a 29' Tournament Rigged 6 Pack Fishing Machine. Powered by New 2024 twin Suzuki 200hp motors. Rigged with state of the art electronics, private head, fish tower and professional crew. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.
Now, come aboard with Solo Good and get hooked!

Captain Boos and Albert did a great job!! We had a windy day, but they had rescheduled from the day before because it was there was even more wind. We had a full day of fishing, but with only those two hookups, due to the wind likely. On the other hand, what hookups they were!! Great service! Albert (first mate) had sandwiches for all. They were delicious. Service was great, boat was great. All in all what a great day for fishing!

Hi Donald, thank you for your feedback. As you mentioned, it was a challenging day due to the wind, but we still achieved the main goal — the marlin. Great job out there. Hope to see you again sometime. Blessings, Captain Boos
