Book your next trip with Family Friendly Charters and find out what the fishing in the beautiful 10,000 Islands National Wildlife Refuge is all about. The 10,000 Islands and waters surrounding Marco Island is where Captain Nick grew up.

Captain Nick has guided thousands of successful charters and has all the local knowledge of the area. After Captain Nick graduated college, he decided to pursue his passion for fishing and sharing that experience with others. This charter outfit caters to anglers of all experience levels. From families with young anglers that have never been fishing a day in their lives, to seasoned fisherman that travel the world fishing, everyone is welcome.

These waters are home to Flounder, Jack Crevalle, Pompano, Redfish, Mangrove Snapper, Snook, Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout, Tripletail, Cobia, Sheepshead, Tarpon, and more with any luck.

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites!

Captain Nick runs a spacious 23' Parker center console with capacity for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Your captain will provide rods and reels, tackle, and everything else needed for the day.  All you need to bring is beverages and snacks you would like for the day.

There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed.

Fishing with Nicholas
4 Hour Trip on February 13, 20264 adults
We caught fish, a nice speckled trout, a nice Spanish mackerel, a few silver trout - all keepers, but also several catfish, buttonhead shark, and small mangrove snapper. Not terrific fishing, but Nick worked his butt off to get us on better spots. If we didn’t catch anything decent within a few minutes, he moved us to a different spot. We appreciated Nick’s effort and his interesting and friendly conversation.

Great Trip with Dolphins riding the wave
2 Hour Trip on September 3, 20254 adults
Nic was a very pleasant captain Supporting us a family with two kids (13+16) during the fishing. All of us catched between 5-9 fish in a 2 hours tour. Different fishing spots and by changing travel between two we suddenly saw 4-5 dolfins Nic slowed down the speed of the boat and the dolfins played with the wave and jumped out of the water.. All in all, we had a lot of fun, learned things about several birds, fishs and would love to book the next trip with Nic

Great fishing trip with my family
4 Hour Trip on April 1, 20263 adults
We had a great day out on the water with Capt. Nick. He was very knowledgeable about the local waters and was happy to share history of the waters along with finding us fish. We went to multiple spots and found fish at every one. I highly recommend this operator for a day of fishing on Marco Island.
