If you’re ready to have fun fishing in Orange Beach, book a trip with Autistress Fishing. With Captain Braden at the helm, you’re in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
You’re likely to go after Flounder, Sheepshead, Bluefish, Black Drum, Mangrove Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, Red Snapper, Speckled Trout, Vermilion Snapper, Redfish, and more, depending on the time of year. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks!
The vessel, The Autistress, is a sister boat to our offshore boat named the Wahoodat. This boat is captained by Braden Coker. Braden has spent his whole life fishing inshore and offshore but his true passion is inshore. He has been a deckhand on the Wahoodat for two years and worked on several boats before that. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Great experience
From signing up, to the excellent communication we received from Cpt.. Braden and his group, this trip was effortless to get on the water. This was the first guided fishing excursion we have ever booked and it did not disappoint. Braden, our guide was very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable and put us right on top of the fish where we caught our limit of Red Snapper. We will be doing this again and I would highly recommend this group to make your day a success!!

Great and understanding, captain!
Trip started out with a family of five and after 10 minutes in three realize they did not wanna go out fishing instead of making it a problem the captain quickly without problem, returned back to the dock to allow those three to get off and the other two to continue on. This turned into a great bonding experience for my self and my youngest son. Our captain put us on the snapper early and then we moved on and wore out the king mackerel.

My nephew loves to go fishing when they visit for the 4th of July. We changed it up a bit this year and opted for an inshore 4 hour excursion. Captain Brandon was more than capable and a gracious host. Brandon assisted us novice fishermen and women when we needed a hand. Brandon took us to several spots to include casting and trolling in the pass. We didn’t catch a bunch, but we all caught something. Nephew reeled in a decent sized flounder which was the catch of the day. I would highly recommend Autistress and Captain Brandon for your fishing excursions.

We had an awesome time!
My wife and I took our two kids (13 and 7) They love to fish, and being from the Midwest this was a whole new experience. Brayden was great! He was knowledgeable, fun, and an all around awesome captain to have! We all caught a variety of fish and headed straight down the road to eat them after. We had a blast and will return for sure!

Expected inshore fishing was sketchy due to heat and all the recent rain, so Captain took us out to one of his snapper spots offshore where we caught our limit of red snapper, then a couple Spanish mackeral on the way back in. A great fishing day!
