Ready to cast a line in Destin? Look no further than Swoop II Adventures! With countless hours navigating these stunning Emerald Coast waters, Captain Matt and Captain Jeff know every tide, reef, and current by heart.
These rich fishing grounds are home to an incredible variety of species — including Vermilion Snapper, Amberjack, Red Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, Mangrove Snapper, Almaco Jack, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Wahoo, Mahi, King Mackerel, Tuna, and many more. Expect a mix of exciting bottom fishing and specialized techninques, such as , Slip Lead Fishing.
The Swoop II welcomes anglers ages 6 and up, making it perfect for a family adventure! Don’t forget to pack your favorite drinks and snacks in a cooler — you’ll appreciate the extra energy while reeling in your catch.
Step aboard a spacious 65' Navigator head-boat that is Coast Guard certified for up to 40 passengers. This vessel is fully equipped with all the essentials, including rods, reels, bait, and tackle — plus a toilet on board for convenience. There is also an air-conditioned cabin to cool off in the summertime.
Every trip is supported by an experienced First Mate, who works hard to ensure your fishing experience is top-notch. It’s customary to offer them a 20% tip for their efforts. For Private Charters and groups of 10 or more, a 20% gratuity will be automatically added.
No need to purchase a fishing license — we’ve got that covered! Just show up ready for an unforgettable day on the Gulf. Keep in mind that some fish may have special regulations or limited seasons; if you’re unsure, our crew will keep you straight on that.
Bring along a few essentials like bottled water, sunglasses, sunscreen, and your motion sickness remedies (just in case). Alcohol is permitted on board — but no glass bottles, please.

We had an unbelievable day! Booking was easy and to be able to book and fill out waivers online was convenient. The communication was seamless and information regarding patking and what to bring came quickly and was spot on. Parking was easy and boarding a breeze. We followed the instructions of the crew regarding where to drop our lines and how far to let them down and we were not disappointed as we caught our limit. Our group included one who rarely fishes, one who fishes onshore each week and 2 who were hoping to find a boat they can return to
again and again and they did! ALL had a great time. Extremely enjoyable and memorable day and we will be back in the spring - thanks.

We had the BEST time on our fishing trip today! From the moment we got on the boat, everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The mates were super helpful the entire time—whether it was helping us taking the fish of the line, untangle lines, or just making sure we were having a great time. You can tell they really love what they do, and it made the whole experience even better.
The price was amazing, especially compared to the private charter we did last year—which honestly wasn’t even half as fun as today. This trip was full of laughs, great people, and tons of excitement. We caught fish, made memories, and already can’t wait to come back next year. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about going—you won’t regret it!

Unfortunately our trip got canceled last second due to the weather. As a experience angler this is 100% understandable, especially with it being a offshore party boat with up to 40+ passengers, safety needs to come first and even though I wish there was further notice on the cancellation, I completely understand the captain’s decision, sometimes that’s just fishing. Other than that the Swoop crew was super friendly and communicated very well with giving me back my refund. Hopefully next time we visit Destin the weather will be nicer for we can get out on the water with them!

I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, this is the best fishing charter ever. From the moment you check in the crew is incredibly supportive. The boat itself is larger than a lot of other ones, so you don’t feel cramped. That is a big issue on a lot of party boats. The interior was a bit messy with all the extra equipment, which made sitting a little m, but whatever.
The main thing to remember is, if you want a quality fishing, charter experience, with a crew, who cares about you having a good time, and a captain that knows where the fish are… This is it 110%.

Good mid-size party boat!

I went on a bottom fishing trip in November so our target fish were vermillion, trigger, and hopefully some red grouper and scampi. We made our limit for vermillion, got a handful of good trigger, and a few red grouper. We threw a lot of small fish back amd two sharks. overall it was a great trip for the price. It was nothing fancy, but good fishing and a good crew.
