Jake's Land Based Shark Fishing 

Spend the day with Jake's Land Based Shark Fishing getting to know the waters around Port Orange like never before.

You won't have to travel far to fish these inshore and backcountry waters, including some spots that only the locals know about.

Around here it's common to go casting and bowfishing, and that's exactly what you'll do. Jacob has all the fishing and bowfishing gear you need, so all you have to bring is good mood!

Around here it's common to catch Largemouth Bass, Black Drum, Bowfin, Common Bream, Gag Grouper, Jack Crevalle, Ladyfish, Bonnethead Shark, Bull Shark, Blacktip Shark, Sheepshead, Snook, and more, depending on conditions.

You're welcome to keep any fish that are legal to harvest. Jacob even offers clean your catch for you so it's ready to fry up at home. Have a cooler ready in the car! As many as 4 people can join these excursions. You'll be fishing without a boat, so expect to make your way on foot at least part of the time and come dressed for current weather conditions.

Everyone in your group should buy a local fishing license ahead of time. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. You're encouraged to dress in layers and the proper footwear (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring sunblock, bottled water, and sunglasses in any weather conditions.
