Amberjack, Coral Trout, Mahi Mahi, Green Jobfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Dogtooth Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Giant Trevally, Sailfish, and more could be biting if you come at the right time of year. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. MVPoseidon also offers fly fishing. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea to keep their stamina going!
MVPoseidon welcomes you aboard a 31’ center console that can carry up to 8 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
There will be bottled mineral water and some drinks on offer, but let them know if you wish to bring your own. There will be food and some light snacks for you on board.
