Pompano Beach has a variety of species right out front! You’re likely to go after Wahoo, Sailfish, Blackfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Black Grouper, Swordfish, Yellowtail Snapper, Cobia, Mangrove Snapper, and more with any luck. You’ll target your catch by trolling, drifting, or bottom fishing. Live bait trips are also available with purchase of bait.

If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that supervised kids are always welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so please bring appropriate size. Feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages to stay fueled throughout your trip!

Your boat for the day is a 61’ Viking Sportfish that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials including your fishing license! There’s a toilet and kitchen on board for your convenience. Capt. Dean will provide rods and reels for you.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

A few items to bring include sunglasses, sandwiches, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be water bottles available. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid glass bottles.
